KubeOps COMPLIANCE 2.1 now available

With the release of KubeOps COMPLIANCE 2.1, using the platform becomes easier and more flexible. With this release our focus is primarily on an improved user experience and expanded capabilities for modern Kubernetes setups.

Single Sign-On

A key component of this release is the introduction of Single Sign-On (SSO) based on Keycloak. This enables centralized access to the KubeOps dashboard, the container registry (Harbor), and monitoring (Grafana).

Support for New Kubernetes Versions

KubeOps COMPLIANCE 2.1 fully supports Kubernetes version 1.35. Kubernetes version 1.36 is now also supported for all non-air-gapped environments.

Traefik Instead of NGINX

In the area of ingress management, NGINX is still the default ingress controller. Additionally, Traefik has been integrated and can already be manually installed and used. Starting with the next version, Traefik will replace NGINX as the ingress controller, as NGINX is no longer being maintained.

Advanced Options for Databases

Additionally, the CloudNativePG Operator has been added, providing an option for integrating and operating PostgreSQL databases within Kubernetes clusters. This enables the management of databases according to cloud-native principles based on widely used open-source technology.

As always, you can find the complete changelog in our documentation.
