This results in noticeable performance gains that reduce the time required for cluster setup by up to 75%. For existing customers: Switching to KubeOps COMPLIANCE 2.0
First, the good news: the switch to KubeOps COMPLIANCE 2.0 can be carried out largely without manual configuration steps.
However, one point must be taken into account:
- The cluster definitions (YAML) must be adapted because the tool kubeopsctl 2.0 uses new value formats (cluster-values.yaml, enterprise-values.yaml). Simply copying old files is not possible, but the effort required for adaptation is manageable.
