The Kubernetes Administration (LFS458) course is designed for individuals looking to manage containerized application infrastructure. It is ideal for IT administrators and those interested in starting a career in the cloud sector.

Course Content and Learning Objectives

In this course, you will learn how to install a multi-node Kubernetes cluster using kubeadm. You will also discover how to scale a cluster, select and implement cluster networks, and apply various methods for managing the application lifecycle, including scaling, updates, and rollbacks. Other topics include:

  • Security configuration for clusters and containers
  • Storage management for containers
  • Monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting containers and clusters
  • Configuring scheduling and affinity for container deployments
  • Using Helm and charts to automate application deployment
  • Understanding federation to increase fault tolerance and availability

Certification Goal

Upon completing the course, you will be able to install and configure a productive Kubernetes cluster, perform network settings and upgrades, and deploy applications. This course also thoroughly prepares you for the CKA certification exam. The CKA certification can be booked OPTIONALLY and is not included in the regular training.
