Artifact controls in images for maximum security

Verify artifacts for security and the integrity of your data

Artifacts (meaning all files within the image), as well as the images themselves, are of unknown origin.
There is no way to control how these artifacts are created or what they contain.

Files originating from unauthorized sources may contain unwanted features or malicious code.

Where possible, artifacts should only be obtained from trusted sources and verified using appropriate methods, such as PGP keys. Particularly in the case of open source software, it is recommended that you build the artifacts yourself.
